A Whole house system rack location for a really groovy client and buddy! John wanted a clean working, great sounding, simple usable system for the whole family. What that means is you need to control 16 zones of music and all the House Lights! The Music Server threw a Fireball FP1 dock station, two satellites receivers, a Game Station, A DVD Player, a full Surround Receiver for the room in the den and we want to watch TV at the Kitchen bar for the kids to enjoy ...and make that TV a touch screen! Now, go do it !!”

Here we have a 10 year client upgrading to a more current TV. With this custom Bissell designed cabinet, we were able to move out the old 4 x 3 TV set and install a new 16 X 9 HD unit by Mitsubishi. This cabinet houses B & W towers up high and laid down three across, a powered subwoofer, matching wood cabinet accents, 8 drawers for CD and movie storage and a wine chiller for that all important glass of wine when the show begins. Believe it or not, all this gear is controlled by 1 Remote and even the husband can work it! |

Atlantic Tech Reference Speakers with back-boxed design installed under the bench area to hide them from view. The white grill is later installed to complete this project, further ensuring it to be hidden from view. This tilting sound tweeter was engineered to move the sound up without moving the speaker…just flip a switch! (I don't always leave my wallet out while installing, but I was on my back a lot this day!)

A motorized mounted Pioneer Kuro Plasma TV install with custom flush black box was designed to keep your eye on the show and not the mount and wires. This picture shows the TV in the “at rest” location in the Kitchen. This Cheif mount can move out, turn left and right, and tilt up and down all by Remote.

For this Penthouse apartment, we designed this motorized over-sized screen and DPI projection with a lift that hides in the ceiling. A flush speaker install and RF Remote System pull it all together. The Remote can also control all the motorized shades in the room…they are shown in the “down” position in this picture.

At Austin Audio we get some pretty hard project requests. I don't mind, we always have a “can do” attitude! A new Mitsubishi Sound Bar TV we sold and installed for a custom bedroom…”no wires must be seen…not even the plug wires!” Ok...Check! Steal rods slide into wood shelves which make this Uptown install happen at the Rivers Edge in Austin TX. Padded walls keep the sound in check as well. All padding is hidden behind soft touchable fabrics that really finish the look.

Many of the problems in Home Theater work come from the confusing remotes. Here the E'lan Company has made a simple and functional in-wall remote that anyone can use at a glance. With the quick change film screen layout it can also change looks to match the home’s color pallet as well. Pick a forest green backdrop or a woodgrain slide for the office.

This system has a timeless look! However, I installed this 70” Monster TV and all the gear over 11 years ago! It has a pull-out rack, grill cloth speaker locations and decorative veneer inlays. Originally this was a Closet, but we turned this Westlake family’s “dull” room into a usable and great Home Theater and Dr’s Home Office!
